The Hokie Scholarship Fund Recent Graduate Program is a great way for young Hokies to get involved and give back to Virginia Tech.
Because many Recent Graduates are just beginning their professional careers, there may be some financial restraints in becoming a donor to the Hokie Scholarship Fund. However, thanks to the Recent Graduate Program, it’s possible to never miss a second of the action at Lane Stadium or Virginia Tech Carilion Court at Cassell Coliseum while also taking pride in giving back to Virginia Tech.
Take a look at the Hokie Scholarship Fund Benefits Chart. Notice there are various benefits offered at each level including limits on tickets purchased in priority and minimum donation levels to be eligible to park in certain areas.
Any Recent Graduate can receive benefits at Golden annual level or below at a discounted rate shown below:
1 Year Post Graduation: 50% off desired giving level
2 Years Post Graduation: 50% off desired giving level
3 Years Post Graduation: 25% off desired giving level
4 Years Post Graduation: 25% off desired giving level
Harold Hokie is 1 year post graduation and gives $125 to the Hokie Scholarship Fund to qualify as an Orange & Maroon donor for all annual benefits. He also purchases 2 season tickets for football.
Based upon his gift of $125, Harold is only eligible to choose his seats in 4 different ways:
Please note that your giving level will determine your eligibility for scholarship seating for football and men’s basketball tickets, as well as parking zones. Priority points are calculated using the actual amount donated to the Hokie Scholarship Fund.
All Recent Graduates will also be invited to an exclusive Virginia Tech Athletics event that varies from year to year. Don’t wait to begin your legacy, get involved today!
Even if you are not interested in season tickets, we still want you to be involved! By making the discounted contributions to the Hokie Scholarship Fund, you will be eligible to receive all the other benefits associated with your annual giving level, gain valuable priority points that can be used throughout your lifetime, and have the satisfaction that you are making an impact on the lives of current Virginia Tech student-athletes.
