The Richmond Hokie Club will hold the 12th Annual Virginia Tech Hokies Basketball Tip-Off on Wednesday, October 14, at the Downtown Richmond Marriott. This event, presented by T-Miller's Sports Bar & Grill, will feature the following speakers: Bill Roth "Voice of the Hokies", Beth Dunkenberger - Head Women's Coach, Seth Greenberg - Head Men's Coach, and special guest speaker Sonny Smith. Sonny was the former VT Assistant Coach for the 1973 NIT Championship team, and 2-time SEC Coach of the Year for the Auburn Tigers. He most recently coached the VCU Rams.

Social starts at 5:30 p.m. and the event will start at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $25.00 per person and may be purchased online at the Richmond Hokie Club website.

The Richmond Hokie Club will once again offer bus trips to the following Virginia Tech football games:

• September 12 - Marshall
• September 19 - Nebraska
• September 26 - Miami
• October 3 - at Duke
• October 10 - Boston College
• October 29 - North Carolina
• November 5 - at East Carolina
• November 14 - at Maryland
• November 21 - NC State
• November 28 - at Virginia

Cost is $55.00 per person if received 7 or more days prior to the game, or $60.00 if received less than 7 days prior to gameday. Cost covers bus trip, cups, ice, and soft drinks. You do not receive a ticket to the game. For more information, go to the Richmond Hokie Club website.

The RDU Hokie Club (Raleigh Durham Hokie Club) will offer bus trips to Virginia Tech's football game on Thursday, October 29 vs. North Carolina and Thursday, November 5 vs. East Carolina. For more information, go to the Raleigh Durham Hokie Club website.
